If she rented it out (and Primanti's is a pretty famous place), you'd think the deli would have posted signs saying closing at such and such an hour for private event.  For staff to tell patrons, you'd think they would have been announcing it far in advance of said closing time...was it a last minute rental?  If so, I could see patrons being pissed.  Otherwise, learn to read and listen so you're not disappointed.
