I can't believe how quickly summer flew by.  It's been so busy, no, hectic, no, chaotic...I feel lost to time...

The leaves are already changing color, many have dropped due to the dry summer...heavy sigh...
I hope I don't miss out on a weekend trip to see Fall colors...
until then, I'll have to look back at my memories...

Fall is wonderful!

My area has gotten more rain than usual and the weather is still warm so we are very green for now!

We had a drought all summer...now we are in Tropical storm Ophelia...2 inches so far and it's not technically here yet. Should rain all night.

Final tally of rain...5 inches in a little over one day. It came down!

It has been a very drenching intro to Fall...we've had rain for the past week, and hopefully it will end by Friday so I can mow and start laying down some lawnsoil and seed...I missed out on lawn care in the Spring due to my husband's accident, and the pallet of soil has been sitting all summer...ugh.  Oh well, life is what happens when you're making other plans.

We had an unusually wet summer and it looks like the fall will be the same!

That is saying something for a desert!
