I fill our bird feeders and the darn fountains to keep them clean splash all the water everywhere...they're always dry the next day so I figure the deer and birds are hitting them pretty hard too.

It's been hot and the little guy is certainly appreciative that you're providing.  Such a cute photo.

Unless in a shaded area any standing water might get dangerously too hot for the squirrel to be drinking from it.  Nice to see Mr Frog still resides in your garden after so many years.

Grandma...I rinse it out a couple times a day when I re water potted plants. That birdbath gets shade from 1 pm on.
