Fear that Bigum may have been bitten by a mosquito that carries...
He's had an allergic reaction for about a month now and nothing seems to help...
Now he won't eat and test all the time...
Will take him to a vet in a few but walk ins are few...

I really hope that it's not the case luv, but I wouldn't waste any time getting him tested.  There's quite a bit of info on this website which might help:

I am told preventatives that are not vet recommended are always trash.  Just buying off the shelf is always risky, but perhaps it's something else.

wasn't heartworm....thank goodness...cost 99.00 to tell me he had fleas...
Dang....the test was worth it and knowing for sure...
Vet says that Dawn soap (blue) could solve the problem... I knew that but I used the dollar store dog bath...useless...and the worthless expense Natural Care + fleas and tick spray...

Was given Advantage multi with imidcloprid +moxidectin and it work instantly...

Now to get his appetite back is key...

Acting like a finicky cat...

Oh well...relief somewhat...

2 more days of this extreme weather and feeling better about everything...
