By my back porch steps this morning - mama deer gave birth to a pretty spotted fawn. Another doe was pulling down and eating my wild grape vines at the edge of my back yard while her new baby was nursing at the same time. They are beautiful animals.

What a lovely sight.  We get the occasional deer, opossum and racoons in our yard.  The one thing I dread is that a skunk is there when I let the dog out.
