Loved the birthday video and of course "Imagine" is an all time favorite Lennon number.  I still have my first Beatles LP which I brought from the UK when I came here, it was actually "The Second Beatles Album " and I think it is quite valuable.  John's death was so tragic and untimely.

I painted this back in 1971.

I have the vinyl albums too.

Wow sunshine - that was a great painting of John and Yoko.  You must have been a big fan like me.  It's amazing how Paul is still going strong too.  I don't think any other music group could have taken America by storm like the Beatles - most of them have faded away.  I still have the vinyl albums of The Dave Clark Five, "Glad All Over" and "Return", as well as Cliff Richard and Gilbert O'Sullivan.  Trouble is I broke the needle on my phonograph and they are hard to get anymore and expensive.  We have all the latest technology in CD players - but I can't bear to part with my old albums.

I finally got rid of my  album player but you can get a new one now. I think I saw one at Target...it looks old fashion but is new.  I have  about 100 old albums from the 70's eras.

I really liked George Harrison too. I especially liked his My sweet Lord....Bangladesh album..

Here's some revelations by Yoko that have come out in conjunction with the marking of what would have been John's 70th this weekend - interesting:
