Yep.  when we go driving, Ozzie gets nutso when we get close to places he knows and likes...like the groomer.

Same here.  When we go into town and we are a couple of blocks from Carousel Park on the Willamette River, Hannah gets all excited and starts jumping up and down until we pull into the parking lot.  It's her favorite place to walk.

When we are returning and get off the highway to head for home she "talks" non-stop and wags her tail and can't wait to get in the house.  Dogs are so intuitive, especially when they get a lot of love and attention.
